UNDERSTANDING THE ‘CHRISTIAN’ MAN (PART 1)

The moment anybody forsakes his past life and announces the lordship of Jesus over his life, several things happened. These things I would be sharing with you over a period of four weeks. Our failures, disappointments and shortcomings in character and in life’s experience stem out of our ignorance of these things. I tell you, they are mind-blowing! The effectiveness of our walk with God depends on them. The Apostle Paul in Philemon 1:6, says these most poignant words, That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” The word ‘communication’ comes from the Greek word, ‘Koinonia’ which alludes to fellowship, partnership, effective participation, benefiting from a commonwealth. The very first time my eyes fell on this scripture, I was moved to tears by the riches of God’s word. The thought the Holy Ghost imparted into my spirit then was that even if everybody looked down on me, God, who matters more, says that there is something good in me. For me, I saw no need to live in the doldrums of Inferiority Complex. Furthermore, he says that my participation would become ‘effectual’ which points us to the state of ‘actively operative in use for intended purposes’ for Paul uses the word, ‘energes’ which means ‘functioning’. He also says we have to ‘acknowledge’ it. The word, ‘acknowledge’ derives from the Greek word, ‘epignosis’. It connotes accurate operative knowledge. It is that knowledge the Holy Spirit imparts to us by revelation. There is a purpose for which the New Creation came to be. There is a reason why Jesus died to produce a new creation. It was not just to provide an escape root to heaven. It was not to conscribe us to a life of mundanity. We were redeemed to show forth his glory in all spheres of our interactions, both spiritual and physical. The Christian man is God’s ambassador on earth. You are the ambassador of the Almighty. We are called to reflect the life of God. In this piece, I would be looking at one of these ‘things’ that are in you (if you are born again). They are beautiful! You’ll begin to see why you cannot afford to function in poverty, sickness and sin.

THE ZOE

The ‘thing’ for today is called ‘Zoe’. Zoe refers to the very life of God. It is that life that puts God in his class of dominion and superiority. It is the life that death cannot handle because it is eternal. It is a life that is contrary to the mundane things of this life. Guess what? That’s the life you have in you. It enables you effectively represent your father, God. The offspring of dog barks like its parents. So, we have the God imparted ability to act like him in his wisdom in our spheres of influence in good works: healing the sick, raising the dead, feeding the poor, casting out devils! Many folks think God wants to bless them only. No, look at the big picture! Not only does God want to heal you or prosper you, he wants to make you an agent of his healing and prospering power to someone else. Jesus confirmed that when he said, ‘I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.’ (John 10:10) ‘Abundantly’, can also read ‘to the overflow’! Think of it, does God get sick? No! So you shouldn’t! So, live in the consciousness of the life of God you possess and see your life change! Please, Study scriptures beneath and confess the words under the ‘confession’ heading. CONFESSION

I have the life of God in me! I am his Child! So, I reign over sin, sickness and poverty. The ability of God is in me to be a asset to my world. I will make it big to my Father’s glory! Amen!

If you are not born again, Please, Pray: ‘Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner, forgive me come into my heart. Be my lord and savior. I believe and boldly confess you are my Lord and savior. I declare I have God’s life and I am now a child of God! Halleluyah!

The Concept of Truth-Living Free

The Concept of Truth
What is Truth?
Truth is what corresponds to reality. Reality is mindset-determined. What a man experiences in Reality is as result of his mindset. There are only two realities in this world: The Reality of Freedom and Reality of Bondage. Previously, there was only one reality- The Reality of Bondage, but Jesus came to create the Reality of Freedom.

The Reality of Bondage.
This reality stemmed from the fear of the truth, satan had the power of death. They had reason to fear. The Fear was the actual bondage maker, but was motivated by the truth- satan was in Charge. ( Heb_2:14-15). Jesus came to undo this reality. He brought another reality.

The Reality of Freedom.
This is accessible to anybody, by being born-again. We have been set-free. But how many of us truly experience freedom?
That is why the Ultimate Reality- The Word of God, has been given to us to experience the reality of freedom.

There is the Reality:- The Word of God. Experience-is mindset determined, but unless our experience emanates from the true reality, then it is false and terribly superficial.
FEAR- False Experiences Appearing Real. The fact that a man dresses like a woman does not make him a woman.

God has a reality & best reality for us. It all depends on our minds. What we experience should not substitute what is real.
Our minds are at the Crux of it all. Pro_23:7. No wonder he says as a man thinketh so is he.

In this Reality of Freedom, We have the choice to determine our experiences. Rom_3:3. We let God be true , we settle that by Renewing our minds by his word & we prove what is that good and perfect will of God for us.

The Information we decide to retain in our minds- God's reality or satan's lies.
